It was four in the morning. My fellow astronauts and I got up to go to O’Hare Airport. We took a bus from Janesville to Chicago. There was myself, Kaylee, Madi, Jack, Mario, Bill, Kyle, Jaylon, Christina, and Gabie.
Track is a fun, hardworking and active sport. The sport usually takes place in the spring; but here at the blind and visually impaired school, it takes place in the fall. The track season at a regular high school is long; but here, the season is very short— only three meets.
It has been an exciting fall here at WCBVI. Two new staff have joined our team this fall and three other staff have moved into new roles here at WCBVI.
What an adventure it has been and how much I have learned along the way! 31 years ago, after living in Janesville for about a year and a half, I received a phone call from Mr. William English, Superintendent of the Wisconsin School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
