Register for the Wisconsin Braille Competency Exam
Registration will be available through Monday, July 3, at 11:59 p.m. Registrations after this date cannot be accepted as materials must be prepared for on-site testing.
**This will be the final offering of the WBCE.** WBCE test takers who do not successfully pass all four sections of the WBCE must take and pass all sections of the NCUEB.
The NCUEB should be taken by any new test takers because it exists in current state regulation PI 34.051(2)(g). Any professional seeking the 1825 Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired licensure, per PI 34.051(2)(g), shall arrange their own exam by contacting the National Blindness Professional Certification Board (NBPCB). Additionally, any CESA, LEA, IHE or other agency can request to schedule a public exam at the local level.
